PwC Legal expands M&A expertise at the Essen office

Frankfurt am Main, August 30, 2016.

PwC Legal is strengthening its Corporate Law and Mergers & Acquisitions practice group: on August 1st 2016, Dr Patrick Nordhues joined PwC Legal as a Local Partner at the Essen office. Patrick Nordhues (42) came from the Cologne-based corporate law firm Seitz Rechtsanwälte, where he was Partner in the field of corporate law since 2015. He previously worked at PwC Legal in Düsseldorf for over three years and brings with him a total of ten years of experience at international law firms.

Since qualifying in 2001, Patrick Nordhues has advised corporations and SMEs on complex restructurings and M&A transactions. He also advises clients on capital market law and venture capital financing. He has extensive experience in a number of industries, in particular energy, logistics, retail, technology, media and telecommunications. In addition, Patrick Nordhues has published work on a variety of corporate and capital market law issues, and he regularly speaks on different aspects of corporate law, including at the German Association of Energy and Water Industries (Bundesverband der Energie- und Wasserwirtschaft, or BDEW).
